We created some amazing 3D images for IPUK in collaboration with Dave Upton. We were tasked with developing a model of Climatik’s Tower Fan device, which required a significant amount of time and effort to ensure that it met all of the client’s specifications and accurately represented the technical aspects of the product.
We went above and beyond in our efforts to create an exceptional model and even developed a variation to exceed their expectations. WHY DID THE CLIENT COME TO US?
The client could not get the results they wanted from traditional photography. They wanted the versatility that 3D could bring to their product. We produced the images in some home environments as well as some creative white box imagery for their online sales.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS
The model received from the client’s manufacturer was subpar. To produce the level of photorealistic imagery that we expect at XO3D, we needed to remodel and develop elements in-house.
Once the model was fixed, the only other complicated element of the project was to produce the blue air emitted from the fan in the main image. Whilst we considered doing this in 3D, a bit of trial and error in post-production proved to do the trick.
