Marketing Animations: Product Motion for Every Channel
Motion for every marketing channel.
Marketing animations sit at the top of every launch content set. Directed product film, hero motion, exploded reveals, social cut-downs. All built from one 3D asset, delivering motion that outperforms static creative on every channel.
One directed hero. Every marketing runtime.
Marketing animation is where the launch story lives. It anchors homepage hero, opens paid social, closes trade-show installations and covers PR. CGI-led production produces every runtime from a single 3D source.
Once the hero is directed, cut-downs at 15s, 9s, vertical and silent loop all draw from the same source. Direction and colour hold precisely across every runtime.
What's covered
The main varieties, in detail.

Advantages
Why brands commission it.
Motion outperforms stills on every channel.
Paid social, PDP, email, retail all favour motion. CGI-led animation produces motion at every runtime.
One asset, every runtime.
Hero, cut-down, loop, vertical, all from one source. No reshoot per platform.
Brand look holds precisely.
Camera, lighting and colour live inside software. Every runtime looks like the same brand system.
Launch before manufacture.
Marketing animation can be finalised before the physical product ships.
Trade-offs
What to plan for.
Directorial pre-production still matters.
Storyboards, camera language and pacing make or break the hero animation.
Sound design is craft.
Marketing animation sells to the ear as much as the eye.
Not every category is CGI-first.
Human-centred, editorial and lifestyle-first work still benefits from live-action or hybrid production.
Front-loaded modelling.
First animation carries the modelling cost. From there, marginal cost drops fast.

FAQ
Common questions, answered.
How is this different from a hero film?
Marketing animation is the umbrella. Hero film is one deliverable inside it. This guide covers the whole marketing content set.
How long does a marketing animation project take?
6 to 12 weeks for a full multi-runtime marketing set. Hero-only projects sit at the shorter end.
Can we produce more cut-downs later?
Yes. Once the hero source exists, new cut-downs and aspect ratios are low-marginal-cost re-edits.
Do we need to send CAD?
CAD is the fastest and tightest source. Drawings, sketches and physical samples also work.
