3D animation is product film made entirely in CGI, where the product, camera, lighting and environment are all built and directed digitally. XO3D is a director-led studio, founded in 2017 and based in Stevenage, UK, producing animation for launches, campaigns and product marketing. Working directly from CAD files and engineering specifications, the studio can begin before a physical product exists, which is what allows campaign assets to be in market on launch day. Story, motion, materials and pace are agreed before rendering starts, then the film is developed through review stages with sign-off at each one. The same directed work produces the hero launch film, technical sequences such as exploded views and cutaways, and the social cut-downs a campaign needs. Delivery covers a master film plus every required format, so the animation keeps working across product pages, retailer listings and sales materials.

Founded by Thomas Howcroft (Founder and Creative Director) and Alex Mann (Co-founder and Managing Director). Based at the Business and Technology Centre in Stevenage, UK, with representation at 244 Fifth Avenue, New York. We work with tech, industrial and premium consumer brands on product films, launch stills and interactive experiences.
