A furniture interactive is a real-time 3D experience placed on a product page, letting a customer configure, rotate and examine a piece before buying. XO3D, a director-led product CGI studio in Stevenage, UK, builds 360 viewers, configurators and room scene visualisers from an accurate 3D model of the range. Upholstery, finish, size, orientation and modular configuration can all be changed in real time, so a buyer sees the exact specification they intend to order rather than a photograph of a different variant. Controls, customisation options and integration are agreed before development, working previews are reviewed on desktop and mobile at every stage, and the finished experience is delivered as embed code for platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, headless and custom builds. Because furniture is a considered purchase judged on material and dimension, that detail is what turns hesitation into an order.

About the studio
XO3D is a director-led product CGI studio, incorporated as XO3D Ltd in 2019 (UK Companies House 11876020). Founded by Thomas Howcroft (Founder and Creative Director) and Alex Mann (Co-founder and Managing Director). Based at the Business and Technology Centre in Stevenage, UK, with representation at 244 Fifth Avenue, New York. We work with tech, industrial and premium consumer brands on product films, launch stills and interactive experiences.
