Virtual try-on for considered purchases.

Jewellery augmented reality lets a customer preview a ring, necklace, earring or watch on themselves through a phone camera, before committing to a high-value purchase. XO3D, a director-led product CGI studio in Stevenage, UK, builds these experiences from CAD or an accurate 3D model, so the piece appears at true scale and correct proportion rather than as an approximation. Ring try-on uses finger tracking, necklaces and earrings use face tracking, and a watch is previewed on the wrist. Tracking method, interaction model and the platforms to be supported, across iOS, Android and WebAR, are agreed at the start of the project rather than assumed. Because jewellery is bought on fit and proportion as much as design, a calibrated preview gives the buyer visual context that photography alone cannot provide, and it does so inside the brand's own experience.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

How accurate is AR try-on for jewellery?
Accuracy depends on the source model, calibration, tracking method, lighting and device. We define those constraints before production and test the agreed experience on representative devices.
Does this work on every phone?
Device support depends on the chosen AR delivery method. We agree the supported browser and device range before production and provide an appropriate fallback where required.
