Smarter AM
Smarter AM Fridge Cam.
How CGI replaced inconsistent product photography for a connected-kitchen brand — delivering high-resolution hero composites, ecommerce-ready renders and lifestyle imagery from a single 3D source.

The Fridge Cam hero composite.
The Brief
Consistent imagery, ready for every channel.
Smarter AM’s product line is all about connected, considered design — but their existing photography was inconsistent across the range, weakening the brand on product pages and retail listings.
They needed visuals that could carry the Fridge Cam across web, ecommerce and marketing — at the kind of resolution and finish that photography simply couldn’t deliver reliably from shoot to shoot.
We built a single CGI source for the Fridge Cam — then derived hero composites, ecommerce-ready isolations and lifestyle context from it. One pipeline, one visual language, infinite crops.
The Work
From hero composite to ecommerce — one source.
A library of stills produced from the same 3D model: brand-led hero composites, isolated retail renders and detail-led product views — all aligned in lighting and material language.
-
A signature image that anchors the range.
Built around an in-fridge fruit composite, the hero render gives Smarter AM a flagship image they can lead campaigns with — high resolution, brand-led lighting, and ready to crop into web, retail and social touchpoints.
-
Pixel-clean product renders for retail.
A clean, isolated ecommerce render — the kind of consistent, sharp imagery photography couldn’t deliver. Drop-in ready for product pages, retailer listings and Amazon-style requirements where clarity wins clicks.
-
Detail at the level retail demands.
A front-on product shot that captures the camera lens, materials and proportions exactly — engineered from CAD so what shoppers see online is what they receive in the box.
Client Review
“We worked with Alex and Thomas and the quality of the work delivered was superb. Great service and great results. I would highly recommend XO3D.”

Process
Greycard to final — material sign-off in CGI.
Before final lighting, the Fridge Cam was reviewed in greycard so the client could confirm form, proportion and surface treatment. The lit render that follows is the same model — only the look-dev moves.
