XO3D Takes Part in The Nightingale Annual Charity Golf Day 2022

As part of XO3D’s marketing strategies, we attend a networking event every Tuesday morning where we meet with like-minded businesses to expand our network and generate a potential influx of business.

One of the members is from The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, a charity that’s quite close to the hearts of our directors, Thomas Howcroft and Alex Mann.

About The Nightingale

The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre provides the vital additional support so often needed by those affected by cancer, as well as their families, friends, and work colleagues.

Based at 187a Baker Street in Enfield, The Nightingale is a registered charity (number 1094435). It is a non-medical centre, deliberately different from a GP surgery or hospital, and its support is free: counselling, complementary therapies, exercise classes and practical help for people coping with a cancer diagnosis.

The 2022 Golf Day

XO3D chose The Nightingale as its annual charity. We also sponsored an upcoming Golf Day on the 8th of July 2022, where we were able to receive a sponsored hole and get our logo placed at the 18th hole. The 18th hole was the premium hole, and we chose it as part of our support for the charity.

The Nightingale set the Annual Charity Golf Day 2022 for Friday 8 July at Crews Hill Golf Club, on the edge of Enfield. Its programme included a round on the club’s 18-hole course, a halfway house, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive competitions, and an evening two-course meal with a raffle, a charity auction and the prize presentation.

There were gifts and raffles as well as dinner for the players. They were then able to receive a document with information on all the sponsors, making sure that they were able to get in touch if need be.

We also created adverts that supported both The Nightingale and ourselves for the Golf Day, to help raise finances as well as support other businesses in our networking chapter.

It was not our first time at the event. The image above shows our logo at The Nightingale’s 2021 Golf Day, which the charity reported had sold out.

We believe the work they do is truly valuable and is making a world of difference in the lives of the people they serve.
