Sponsoring St. Joseph's Youth Football Club: Supporting Local Talent and Community
We believe in the power of community and the importance of investing in future generations. This belief has driven us to proudly sponsor St Joseph’s Youth Football Club, a cornerstone of youth football in Harrow and its surrounding areas. Founded in 1971, the club has grown into one of the finest in the region, providing high-quality football facilities to young players, thanks to the tireless efforts of volunteers and supporters.
Our sponsorship came about through a personal connection—one of our director Thomas’ former colleagues, whose son plays for the club, reached out to us. Recognising the club’s dedication to youth development and community engagement, we were more than happy to offer our support.
A History of Excellence and Dedication
St Joseph’s Youth Football Club is run entirely on a voluntary basis, with over 60 volunteers contributing to its success. The club currently manages over 20 teams, ranging from Under-7s to Under-17s, participating in league and cup competitions, including the prestigious Harrow Youth Football League and the Middlesex County Cup.
Every team is led by a Level 1 coach and supported by a first aider, with all staff undergoing enhanced DBS checks and regular safeguarding training. This commitment to safety and development is reflected in the club’s long-standing status as a Football Association’s Charter Mark holder since 2003, a certification renewed each year.
Commitment to Safety and Development
The club goes beyond standard requirements by subsidising additional training and development opportunities for players and coaches, ensuring they remain at the forefront of youth football excellence. In total, the club provides football opportunities for over 300 young players, with plans to continually introduce new under-5 and under-6 teams, ready to enter the league at the under-7 level.
Beyond Football: Building Community Through Events
St Joseph’s is not just about football; it is a social hub for the community. The club organises a series of events, such as its famous Summer 6-a-side Festival, which attracts over 250 teams and 3,000 attendees each June. They also host a Family Funday/Club Open Day each September and an annual Christmas Disco, all culminating in the Club Presentation Day, where players are recognised and celebrated for their efforts throughout the season.
A Message from Our Director
We’re thrilled to support St Joseph’s Youth Football Club in their mission to provide outstanding football opportunities for young people in our community. As a company (and football fans ourselves), we understand the importance of dedication, teamwork, and passion—values that St Joseph’s instils in each of their players. It’s a privilege to contribute to a club that not only develops skilled athletes but also helps shape well-rounded individuals. We look forward to seeing their continued success and growth, both on and off the pitch.
