The Gandour project is a two-part marketing animation initiative aimed at enhancing the visual appeal of their spread product, Yamama, and chocolate wafer bar, Unica.
In the first phase, we created a 30-second dynamic animation that highlights Yamama’s texture and consistency through immersive motion simulations, supplemented by still imagery and a brief hero animation emphasising natural ingredients.
The second phase focuses on a 30-second animation for Unica, showcasing its layered structure and chocolate coating with detailed, visually captivating shots.
Our CGI expertise enabled us to address challenges related to organic texture simulation and maintain brand consistency. Using advanced techniques, we produced photorealistic animations and stills that align with Gandour’s brand identity, offering impactful visuals that strengthen their market presence.
This project focuses on a 30-second marketing animation for Gandour’s Unica chocolate wafer bar. The animation captures the bar’s key elements—its layers, crunch, and smooth chocolate coating—through dynamic, visually captivating shots. Alongside the primary animation, we produced supporting packshot stills and a 10-second edited version for impactful, quick messaging. CGI was ideal for this project, providing precise control over visuals and enabling us to create dynamic, photorealistic animations that showcase the Unica bar’s layers and chocolate coating in vibrant detail. CGI allowed us to build intricate simulations that traditional methods can’t replicate, ensuring consistent, high-quality visuals across both animations and stills, all while maintaining Gandour’s brand alignment.
This project presented unique challenges, particularly in creating realistic and dynamic simulations of the chocolate coating and the bar’s layered texture. Achieving photorealistic quality while maintaining smooth, natural motion required meticulous work with organic materials, including advanced shading, lighting, and texture work. Balancing these creative elements with Gandour’s brand identity and ensuring consistent visuals across animations and stills added complexity.
We addressed these challenges by using advanced simulation software, precise texturing techniques, and close collaboration with the client to ensure our artistic approach aligned with the brand. An iterative feedback process allowed us to fine-tune the visuals, ensuring the CGI environment fully captured the product’s essence.
