The Keyz Hydrogen launch film.
The Brief
RGB, mechanical, compact — landed in 30 seconds.
G-Lab needed a 30-second animated showcase for the Keyz Hydrogen — their compact RGB 60% gaming keyboard — covering its distinctive features and colour options in a single, share-ready launch piece.
The brief called for vivid visuals, modern graphic overlays and an energetic soundtrack — designed to highlight the keyboard’s sleek look, RGB lighting, quiet keys and ergonomic build, all seamlessly carrying the G-Lab brand identity.
We delivered a photoreal CGI animation with bespoke sound design — engineered to engage the audience, communicate the product story and drive viewers to explore or buy directly from the G-Lab website.
The Work
From hero film to macro detail — one pipeline.
A full CGI library: a cinematic 30-second hero film, RGB lighting sequences, exploded mechanical views, macro details and a colourway montage — all produced from the same 3D source for total visual consistency.
-
A 30-second launch piece, built to convert.
The headline animation pairs photoreal CGI with energetic motion graphics and a custom soundtrack — engineered to land the Keyz Hydrogen brand story in under thirty seconds and drive viewers straight to the product page.
-
RGB lighting, brought to life in CGI.
Per-key RGB lighting is the headline feature — and physical product photography struggles to communicate it. CGI lets us hit every colour, every animation pattern, every reflection precisely the way the marketing team needs.
-
Mechanical design, made obvious.
An exploded escape-key sequence dismantles the switch stack on-screen — making the mechanical engineering tangible to a consumer audience that values build quality but rarely sees inside a keyboard.
-
Macro close-ups that sell the build.
A precision macro pass on the membrane and key construction — communicating the quiet keystroke, premium materials and tolerances that justify the price point against budget competitors.
-
Every colourway, one pipeline.
A rapid colour-flick montage shows the full Keyz Hydrogen range — white, black, blue, grey and the orange accent variant — without staging a multi-day product shoot. One CGI source, every SKU, ready in hours.
-
60% layout — communicated at a glance.
The Keyz Hydrogen is a compact 60% keyboard. A size-comparison sequence puts that form factor in context against a full-size board — answering the first question every gaming buyer asks before they hit add to cart.
Marketing-Ready Assets
4K stills for product pages, paid and decks.
A library of 4K product renders covering every colourway in the Keyz Hydrogen range — drop-in ready for the product page, Amazon listing, paid social and retail partner assets.
Attention to detail
Macro close-ups across every colourway.
High-resolution macro renders showcase the per-key RGB, the mechanical switch detail and the accent colour treatments that distinguish the Keyz Hydrogen range.
Motion Detail
Macro animation passes — RGB, type feel and brand.
Beyond the headline film, a set of focused motion passes isolates the details that matter most to a gaming audience — the typing feel, the RGB lighting, the brand logo treatment and the alternate colourway story.
Colourway Story
Every SKU, side by side.
A composite 4-grid frame and the final colour-flick animation, side by side — showing how the same CGI source delivered every colourway in the Keyz Hydrogen range without re-shooting a single product.

What challenges were there during production?
Artists Commentary.
Composing a soundtrack for a finished animation is its own discipline — the music has to sync to the visuals, support the emotional beats and never overshadow the product story.
We solved this through close, iterative collaboration between the animation team and the composer — locking timings, sweetening transitions and tuning sound design to the per-key RGB and mechanical motion.
The result is a 30-second piece where audio and visuals reinforce each other beat-for-beat — landing the Keyz Hydrogen brand identity in a single, cohesive launch asset.
